ABOUT THE RDA

FOLLOWING THE territory’s RESPONSE TO extreme weather events of 2017, THE GOVERNMENT OF THE VIRGIN ISLANDS ESTABLISHED THE RECOVERY AND DEVELOPMENT AGENCY AS A TAILOR-MADE CAPABILITY TO raise funds, build capacity and execute projects.  the strategy is to build stronger, smarter, greener, better.

Supporting the Territory’s

Recovery

RDA was formed to support Government to execute the plans identified in its Recovery and Development Plan.

The priorities are set by Government. RDA then plans, procures and executes, adding technical expertise to ensure the projects are implemented effectively and efficiently. The agency has a finite life span of 5 to 7 years

By supporting Government to deliver the recovery plans, RDA is safeguarding the local economy and setting the stage for its continued growth.
