In June, works were completed at the Ballast Bay and Great Mountain 2 road rehabilitation sites, bringing the total number of completed road project activities to six (6).

Completion of the first six (6) road works sites has paved the way for work to begin on the last two sites, namely Fish Bay and Long Trench, as well as for the contract to be signed and work to begin on asphalting across all six project sites.

Work has also began in earnest on the Zion Hill Reservoir project, which is the final of three reservoir projects, with both Carrot Bay and Long Bush completed.

Within the Renewable Energy Installations project, work has begun on installation of the solar system at the Jost Van Dyke clinic. Two additional systems at Leonora Delville and Ivan Dawson Primary Schools have received approvals and are awaiting full commissioning.

Also in June, Phase 1 of the Virgin Gorda Sports Complex – rehabilitation of the main building – reached practical completion, with the sport floor tiles, scoreboard and wall panels fully installed. Once work on the car park of the complex is contracted and executed, this project will be completed.
