In August, a contract was signed with Autland Heavy Equipment for road and slope stabilisation works in Long Trench, and works have begun. At the Zion Hill Reservoir site, the existing structure has been demolished, concrete casting of the tank footing and anchors have been completed, and tank construction began in August. Tank installation has been completed at both Carrot Bay and Long Bush sites. The Road and Water Infrastructure projects form part of the portfolio of Rehabilitation and Reconstruction Loan projects funded by the CDB. Also in August, several community meetings and consultations were held for upcoming projects for delivery including Jost van Dyke Primary School, West End Ferry Terminal and the Fish Bay drainage and road works.
