In November 2021, concrete was poured at the Long Trench road rehabilitation and slope stabilisation site, while the bypass road required for the Fish Bay road rehabilitation site was completed and fully in use allowing for the construction of the required new culvert. These works marked significant progress on these last two road project activities funded by the CDB RRL.
Also in November, the final Reservoir activity, at Zion Hill, was officially handed over to the Ministry of Transportation, Works and Utilities, signaling wrap-up of this Water Network Improvement (Reservoirs and Metering) project. In line with funding received for three additional renewable energy project activities, a Memorandum of Understanding was signed between the RDA and the UK Government governing completion of several renewable energy activities namely Enis Adams and Francis Lettsome Primary Schools, and Mobile Powerboxes. These project activities are scheduled to be completed within the second quarter of 2022.
