The Virgin Islands Recovery and Development Agency (RDA) has shortlisted firms for the construction of the Elmore Stoutt High School (ESHS) under the ESHS Re-development project. Construction is expected to start in April 2022 and this requires construction materials to be available in the territory for purchase by the contractors who will be awarded the contracts for the execution of the works.

In order to mitigate the risks of delay in materials, the RDA now invites the major building materials suppliers in the BVI to an urgent meeting on Friday 18th February 2022 at the Village Cay Conference room from 11:00 a.m. – 12:30 pm to discuss the building material needs for the ESHS Re-development and other projects expected to be executed in 2022.

Due to covid-19 protocols, only 1 representative per company will be allowed.

The RDA expects to meet major/registered suppliers of the following materials:
• Concrete blocks: 4”/6”/8”
• Windows
• Doors
• LED lights/
• Ceiling fans
• Plywood
• Vapor barrier
• Urinals/sinks/faucets/cisterns
• countertops
• Paint
• Floor & wall tiles
