REPAIR WORKS AT THE ROAD TOWN POLICE STATION

The RDA now invites sealed tenders from eligible Tenderers for repair works at the Road Town Police Station.  Post-disaster, the UK Government funded and implemented through the Office of the Governor the renovation of two police stations (West End and Road Town).

Although the repairs to Road Town Police Station have been substantially completed, the RDA has been engaged to implement and complete the remaining works to improve/repair Road Town Police Station to a fully functional basis which will improve the safety and security of the Virgin Islands.

The works include but are not limited to the construction of approximately 600’ linear chain-link fence including Posts, Spacing, Footing, Curb Wall and Gates.   The contractor shall demolish, remove and dispose of all unwanted debris from the area, selected undamaged materials (posts, chain-link fence, barb arm, caps, tension bars) arising from the site clearance shall be stored for possible reuse.

Repair works also include the Supply and Installation of air conditioning systems, acoustic ceiling frames,  windows and doors for the reception area, workstation and offices.

The Bidder’s Conference and Site Visit will take place on Thursday, 4 June, 2020 at 10:00 a.m. at the Road Town Police Station, located at the corner of Pickering Road and Station Avenue, Road Town, Tortola, British Virgin Islands.

TENDER SUBMISSION DEADLINE:  Friday, 26 June, 2020 at 10:00 AM.
