LASHAUNA MARSHALL JOINS RDA AS PROJECT MANAGER

The Virgin Islands Recovery and Development Agency is pleased to announce the appointment of Ms. Lashauna Marshall as a Junior Project Manager for a period of one year effective 6 January, 2021.

Ms Marshall will provide technical and administrative support for the delivery of the Government of the Virgin Islands Recovery to Development Plan being implemented by the Recovery and Development Agency.

As a project manager, Ms. Marshall will support the development of the scope of works, specifications, bills of quantities and technical documentation.  She will also execute the administrative management of projects.  Her main objective will be to review contract documentation and support the monitoring of consultants and contractors against their contractual obligations. 

Other duties include the review of contractor progress on site and the production of progress and performance reports against the expected schedule.

Ms. Marshall brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to the assignment having worked in both the public and private sector.  She was contracted by the Ministry of Transportation, Works and Utilities as an Assistant Project Coordinator for a period of three years.  Her project impact across the Virgin Islands is visible at Oil Nut Bay, the Craft Alive Restoration Project, Noel Lloyd Positive Action Movement Park and Fire Stations at Jost Van Dyke, Virgin Gorda, Anegada and Cappon’s Bay, to name a few.

Ms. Marshall holds dual Masters’ Degrees in Project Management and Business Administration, General Management from the Keller Graduate School of Management.  She also holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and Human Resources Management from DeVry University.

The RDA is pleased to welcome Ms. Marshall to the team as a young, female professional and hope she lights a trail to inspire and empower other Virgin Islanders in their chosen areas of study. 

The RDA is a statutory body under the Premier’s Office and works in close collaboration with the Government of the Virgin Islands to execute major Recovery Infrastructure Projects
