Repair 30 Homes

Provide support to the Ministry in repairing a maximum of 30 homes of the most vulnerable individuals.

The repairs or rebuilds of houses for vulnerable families and the construction of temporary accommodation for displaced persons are top priority projects in this sector. One year on vulnerable families are still living in deplorable conditions, at risk to the weather and exposed to a range of health risks. The RDA will work closely with the Ministry to identify the targeted beneficiaries and conduct a detailed scoping of the specific needs of each of the vulnerable families selected for inclusion in the RDA projects in this sector. This will be completed alongside the ongoing work of the Ministry to repair the houses of other beneficiaries under this programme, which benefits from UK technical assistance up until the end of November.
