{"id":1079,"date":"2018-05-16T17:10:04","date_gmt":"2018-05-16T17:10:04","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/bvirecovery.vg\/?p=1079"},"modified":"2019-04-05T12:47:48","modified_gmt":"2019-04-05T12:47:48","slug":"recovery-assistance-application","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/bvirecovery.vg\/old\/recovery-assistance-application\/","title":{"rendered":"Housing Recovery Assistance Application Deadline Is May 31"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Homeowners and landlords in the Virgin Islands interested in applying for the Housing Recovery Assistance Programme are reminded to do so by May 31.<\/p>\n<p>Applicants are required to provide the following documentation with their submissions:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Proof of income such as a job letter or pay-slip<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>A copy of National Health Insurance identification<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>Proof of Citizenship<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>Estimates reflecting repair costs<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>Proof of land ownership such as a land deed, letter of administration or mortgage documents<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>Proof of insurance (if applicable)<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Landlord requirements are the same as outlined above, in addition to:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Copies of lease agreements or 3 to 6 months of receipts showing rental income received<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>Trade Licence for more than two rental units<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The documents must be submitted along with the completed application form which is accessible online at\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.bvi.gov.vg\/\">www.bvi.gov.vg<\/a>.
