Representatives from 13 local firms are better prepared to submit tender packages for the Royal Virgin Islands Police Force Fencing, Gates and Drains Project, the newest tender available at bvirecovery.vg.<\/p>\n

The interested companies attended a site visit and bidder\u2019s conference on 26 January, hosted by the Recovery and Development Agency\u2019s (RDA) Procurement and Delivery Teams.<\/p>\n

Tenderers now have until 10:00 a.m. on 15 February 2021 to submit their tender package in the RDA\u2019s tender box.<\/strong><\/p>\n

The Scope of Works states, \u201cThe Contractor shall construct a permanent external fence around the perimeter of the RVIPF Marine Base.\u00a0 The construction work shall include demolish, remove and dispose of all unwanted debris from the work area, including the of existing culverts and PWD drainage system.\u201d<\/p>\n

It further continues, \u201cThe construction work shall include all the necessary labour and materials for the supply, fabrication, installation and all finishes unto the posts, angle irons, horizontal lumber on staggered joints, top rails and security spikes all to be constructed in accordance to the detailed drawings.\u2019<\/p>\n

The successful tenderer shall construct three (3) permanent external sliding gates and a permanent 140\u2019 internal chain link fence on the southern side of the RVIPF Marine Base in addition to drainage works.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Tender packages are to be submitted in two parts. Part A, the Commercial (Financial) Proposal<\/strong> should be submitted in a sealed envelope marked \u2018PRICED COPY\u2019 <\/strong>and it must contain an original signed version of the Tender Certificate.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Three copies of Part B, the Technical Proposal<\/strong> are to be submitted in a separately sealed envelope with the relevant ITT label and marked \u2018UNPRICED COPY\u201d.\u00a0 <\/strong><\/p>\n

The required completion date for this project is the 31 March 2021. Tenderers are expected to allocate the necessary resources in their tender submissions to demonstrate that this completion deadline will be met. Any submissions that exceed the time schedule will not be considered for award of contract.\u00a0 <\/strong><\/p>\n
