The Recovery Development Agency (RDA) is accepting bids for three upcoming projects.<\/p>\n
The projects will be financed by the Government of the Virgin Islands through the Caribbean Development Bank Rehabilitation and Reconstruction Loan and bids are invited for the following:<\/p>\n
Bids for the Fish Bay Road Rehabilitation Project must be submitted by 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, April 15, 2021.<\/strong><\/p>\n Bids for the Long Trench Slope Stabilisation and Road Rehabilitation Project must be submitted by Friday, April 16 at 10:00 a.m.<\/strong><\/p>\n Bids for the Asphaltic Concrete Work for six sites must be submitted by Thursday, April 22, 2021 at 10:00 a.m.<\/strong><\/p>\n Bids must be placed in the RDA\u2019s tender box located at their new office at Building No. 13, Cyril B. Romney Tortola Pier Park, Wickham\u2019s Cay I, Road Town, Tortola.<\/strong><\/p>\n The intended outcome is for the creation of resilient infrastructure and drainage to the most critical roadways that were damaged during the 2017 storms. These projects are expected to be climate sturdy with less vehicular and traffic accidents in support of the Ministry of Transportation, Works and Utilities.<\/p>\n Local construction companies now stand better equipped to submit bid packages after attending three recent site visits and bidders\u2019 conference during which contractors were given a detailed review of the tender packages and areas which must be submitted for a successful application.\u00a0 Contractors were then taken to the project site to assess and become familiar with the location of the works.\u00a0 The sessions were led by members of the RDA\u2019s procurement and delivery teams.<\/p>\n Full tender details of the projects are available at bvirecovery.vg under the current and upcoming opportunities on the Procurement page.<\/p>\n The address for\u00a0Correspondence, Bid Submission and Bid Opening is:<\/strong><\/p>\n Director of Procurement All Bidder\u2019s are invited to witness the respective bid openings in person.\u00a0 Social distancing and hand sanitisation protocols will be observed.<\/p>\n
