In April, the rubberized court surface on the Anegada Recreation Facility was completed, and final works on the Carrot Bay Reservoir site neared completion. Practical completion is expected to be reached on four of the first six Road Rehabilitation sites by May 2021. Once asphalting works on these sites has been completed, work on the last two packages, namely Fish Bay and Long Trench, will begin.<\/p>\n

In April, bids for these last two Road Rehabilitation packages were submitted for evaluation and recommendation of contract award. Also in April, approval for the grid-tie solar generation system installed at the Leonora Delville Primary School was secured from the Electricity Corporation. Installation of two additional systems at Ivan Dawson Primary School and at the Jost Van Dyke Clinic also form part of this project.<\/p>\n

The August 2019 Monthly Report contains status updates of projects during that month, as well as news on planning, policy and communications.<\/p>

A brief summary of the report:<\/span><\/p>

  1. There are seven projects in the planning phase, four in the procurement phase and eight in the operations phase.\u00a0 Two projects have been completed.<\/li>
  2. A list of events and communication releases for the entire month is included.<\/li>
  3. The RDA has a list of confirmed grants\/contributions that will fund some of our many projects.<\/li>
  4. Detailed updates on several projects.<\/li><\/ol>
