Solange has worked in the BVI for the past 8 years in the role of Assistant Project Manager for the Civil Engineering Consultancy firm FDL Consult Inc. The core competence within the firm spans pre-feasibility to maintenance both in consultancy and construction entailing civil engineering design, project management, contract administration and construction supervision.

During her tenure, Solange has been involved and garnered experience as a project team member across the spectrum of services the firm offers under the mentorship of its principal. She has successfully implemented a total of nineteen (19) civil infrastructure projects all over Tortola and in Virgin Gorda under the National Disaster Infrastructure Rehabilitation Project and the Roads Slopes and Coastal Defence Project funded by the Caribbean Development Bank. She has also plied her trade in Dominica, Nevis and Antigua working on similar projects.

Ms. Cooper is an independent, concrete and critical thinker, all of which are critical to team dynamics. She is of impeccable integrity and demonstrates the highest ethical standards. A self-motivated and goal-oriented individual she holds a Bachelors degree in Construction Engineering from the University of Technology, Jamaica and is currently completing a Masters in Civil Engineering and Construction Management from the Heriot Watt University.
