ABOUT THE RDA
Following the immediate response to the hurricane and flood of 2017 disasters, the Government of the Virgin Islands established the Recovery and Development Agency as a tailor-made capability to support the immediate response and longer-term recovery of the Virgin Islands.
Supporting the Territory’s Recovery
RDA was formed to support Government to execute the plans identified in its Recovery and Development Plan.
The priorities are set by Government. RDA then plans, procures and executes, adding technical expertise to ensure the projects are implemented effectively and efficiently. The agency has a finite life span of 5 to 7 years
