MONTHLY REPORT – May 2024
In May 2024, the Virgin Islands Agriculture and Fisheries Complex continued to progress through the procurement phase with evaluators assessing scores from the tender process for the design consultant. The Farmers’ Reservoir (Paraquita Bay) similarly progressed through the procurement phase with approval of contract award to the winning bidder for design consultant services. Additionally, stakeholder engagement continued for these two projects, including meeting with key stakeholders to discuss technical matters surrounding water distribution and availability to ensure the project’s targeted outcomes are ultimately achieved.

In April 2024, the Virgin Islands Law Enforcement Marine Base project had its official opening ceremony A list of defects was submitted to the contractor with most being subsequently resolved. For other projects, such as the Virgin Islands Agriculture and Fisheries Complex, a Request for Expressions of Interest (REOI) was issued for a design consultant, with a tender deadline of April 8, 2024. The Farmers Reservoir (Paraquita Bay) progressed through procurement phase with the closure of tender activity for the Design Consultant services (RFP) and commencement of evaluations. Efforts continued during the month of April, to complete minor outstanding issues towards full closure of the Jost Van Dyke Multipurpose Educational Facility project while at the Eslyn Henly Richiez Learning Centre, construction works continued on the superstructure
