In June 2023, a site visit to review project progress was successfully held with the Minister of Education and senior officials from the Ministry at the Jost Van Dyke (JVD) Multipurpose Educational Facility. Works continued on this project in June, including plastering of walls and construction of the timber roof structure for the courtyard. The JVD Multipurpose Educational Facility is scheduled to be completed in time for start of the new school year in September 2023. Works continued on the Joint Marine Shore Base in June, with concrete poured for the second-floor slab, and columns, lintels and windows- and doors-framing on the second floor completed.

In May 2023, initial planning continued on projects recently assigned to the RDA, including the Trellis Bay Welcome Centre, the Agriculture and Fisheries Complex and Farmers Reservoir, and the National Cultural Centre, Archives, Library, and Museum (Heritage Village). Statements of Requirement are being prepared, finalised and signed-off for these three projects. The major project in Planning, namely the West End Ferry Terminal, was approved by the Ministry to seek Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) certification which demonstrates the Territory’s commitment to greener and more resilient practices.
