In September 2024, the procurement process for the West End Ferry Terminal project continued with contract clarifications requested and responded to by the consultant and the RDA. Bidders also continued work on submissions for 25thOctober 2024 deadline. In other projects, such as the Trellis Bay Welcome Centre, construction activities continued such as the concrete pour for the roof slab was completed, alongside completion of the superstructure and external plastering. For the Water Optimization project, the procurement process continued for the Supply and Installation of Water Meters for Reservoirs across the Territory. The first training session for the other activity under the project: Leak Detection Services scheduled for 23rd September 2024 was postponed. As for the Virgin Islands Agriculture and Fisheries Complex, the project continued to progress through the procurement phase whilst for the Farmers’ Reservoir project, stakeholder engagement continued. This involved meeting with key government stakeholders to apprise of project updates and resolve issues. At the Eslyn Henley Richiez Learning Centre, construction works continued particularly, external works such as generator shed has now been completed. Additionally, some partition profiles have also been installed, and priming of rooms has commenced. Internet connection remained outstanding for the installed and commissioned renewable energy system at Pier Park for the Renewable Energy Installations project. For the Halls of Justice project, stakeholder engagement, specifically meetings were held with key government stakeholders to discuss and review matters regarding project scope. The planning process and stakeholder engagement also continued for the National Cultural Centre, Archives, Library and Museum. This mainly involved communication with government stakeholders regarding project scope and next steps. Similarly, the planning process for the Immigration Detention Centre continued with stakeholder engagement involving the revision of project scope of works and deliverables. With the Statement of Requirement (SoR) for the BVI Health Services Authority Infrastructure Assessment signed in May 2024, the planning process for this project continued with stakeholder engagement in September 2024.
