In October 2020, work continued in earnest on RDA implemented CDB projects, including the VG Admin Buildings, Bregado Flax Educational Centre – Secondary Building, and the Road and Water Infrastructure projects.

In September 2020, on-site work continued to face some challenges and delays in the first part of September due to curfews and restrictions, work still continued where possible on-site the CDB-funded VG Admin Buildings, Bregado Flax Secondary Building, and the Water and Road Infrastructure projects.

In August 2020 on-site work faced some challenges due to the various curfews imposed in the Territory during the month, work still continued where possible on-site the Virgin Gorda Administration Buildings, Bregado Flax Educational Centre – Secondary Building, and the Water and Road Infrastructure projects. Of particular note in terms of project progress, the month of August saw the commencement of road works at the first Great Mountain site, and the completion of retaining walls at the Carrot Bay Reservoir site.

In the month of July, work continued in earnest on-site several CDB RRL-funded projects, including the Flax and North Sound Virgin Gorda Admin Buildings, the Bregado Flax Centre Secondary Building, and the Water and Road Infrastructure projects.

The month of June, the RDA signed new contracts for the design of the Magistrate’s Court and for the Long Bush Reservoirs and Metering projects, both funded by the CDB Rehabilitation and Reconstruction Loan.

In the month of May, the RDA brought both the Sea Markers and the Dismantling of the old incinerator projects to practical completion.

In April, the Recovery and Development Agency (RDA) continued to work in partnership with Central Government in delivering projects from the Recovery to Development Plan.

repairs to a home on Virgin Gorda & handover of procured Marine Survey Equipment.

In January, practical completion of the improvements to Bregado Flax Junior School, repair works at the Baths, Virgin Gorda, and impending completion of the Dismantling of the old incinerator.
