BACKGROUND
The BVI Tourist Board is responsible for promoting the Virgin Islands as a top destination for visitors. This marketing role is crucial for boosting the BVI’s economy now and ensuring sustainable success in the future.
In 2017, the hurricanes destroyed a shed at the Trellis Bay dock, which provided shade for ferry and marine passengers traveling to the sister islands. The shed has not been replaced, leaving travelers to sit under trees and on worn-out chairs. Trellis Bay is a key point for tourists arriving and departing by air as part of their resort visits and island-hopping adventures.
This project aims to enhance the experience for visitors and residents, leading to a better overall travel experience.
