Background:
The Dr. D. Orlando Smith Hospital and Annex are critical healthcare facilities in the British Virgin Islands. Since their completion in 2014, maintenance has been limited, resulting in deterioration of roofing systems, guttering, and lightning protection infrastructure. The BVI Health Services Authority (BVIHSA) is undertaking capital repairs to restore these essential systems to extend service life, improve safety, and minimize risk to hospital operations.
The RDA now invites tenders from eligible and qualified Tenderers for the works which includes the renovation of the Road Town Clinic Lobby (ground floor) and Outpatient Clinic Lobby (second floor) which includes the construction of the new elevator shaft. This also includes cleaning and painting the exterior of the east wing of the building and installing building signs.
The Procurement method will be conducted through the National (Domestic) Competitive Bidding (NCB) process.

A second Site Visit and Bidder’s Conference will be held on Monday, 9 February, 2026 at 10:30 A.M.
